I’m severely pissed off this morning… which is slightly less than the not-so-pleasant fury I felt yesterday when, once again, the two-facedness of humanity was proved to me!

I can see you all just sitting there scratching your heads and wondering just what the hell I’m pissed off about now. Well, here it is and any mothers out there will understand exactly why I’m so bloody annoyed.

There’s something in the water around where I live currently, which means that there’s been a lot of pregnancies and we’ve all been due over the last few months….. There’s already been three births in the last six weeks and there’s another three or four to come. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago while waiting to pick up Erin from preschool, I was chatting with one of the other women there, who was also pregnant – she was due to have hers this week and was also having a girl – the same as me. We got into a conversation about names and me, not thinking and being bloody stupid, when asked if I had any names told her I’d chosen Darcy for a girl and Riley for a boy, should the scan be wrong. It was only after I told her the names that she admitted to me that she hadn’t chosen a name yet.

I bet you all know where this is going.

Yesterday, I went to pick the girls up from school and my friend was there. She called me over and whispered that the other woman had had her baby earlier that day and that the bitch had called her Darcy…..We all live on a relatively small estate and the school is on the estate too. Now I can’t use the name I’d chosen and have had to pick another.

But I’m buying a bloody dog and I’m calling it Darcy and I’m going to stand outside her house shouting it LOUDLY!…. Let’s just hope her family aren’t devout christians as she’s pretty much just named her daughter – Descendent of the Devil… the meaning of Darcy is “Descendent of the Dark One” and I’d say that in Christianity that’d be the same as Devil.. I’m pagan so it means something slightly different to me…. but god I’m SO PISSED OFF!!!! We picked that name when I first found out I was pregnant again, I’ve had that name for 7 bastard months and the bitch does that…….. fumes some more

While in some respects other sites out there have more to offer, I find cre8Buzz to have a very nice feel to it. The people there (at least the ones I’ve noticed so far) are older, not children, giving a different feel from the usual Social Networking sites out there and while the site does not have anywhere near the amount of add ons, widgets etc that its competitors do, what it does have is specific areas for different interests.
