I’ve been ill!  *sulks*  And none of you even noticed!  Well, except for Helena.  So I’m going to sit here and be all sulky for a minute or two!

Okay, done!

So, yeah, I had a crappy cold which had me dosed up to the 9s with flu remedies which don’t work but gave me something to do and the desire to do nothing but feel sorry for myself.    Wednesday was the worst day, especially as we had to go to a parents thing at school for the boys - which was fun… Actually it was, as we were in the English room and discovered the English teacher had made a typo on one of their sheets - which gave Gary and I a lot of hilarity!  So much so, Gary even left the teacher a note tellling them about their mistake for them to find the next morning.  Oh to have been a fly on the wall!!!!!

So, it’s Easter this weekend.  And in rememberance of Jesus’s rise from the grave we’re giving out chocolate eggs, because we all know they are given outbecause rabbits lay eggs, and the crosses were pushed into rabbit holes to keep them upright….. right?  What complete and utter crap!  Easter is Eostre - a fertility festival.  Yet another one the Christians stole - gods bless em :p 

I can’t be bothered ranting about it at the moment tho - it’s that cold still bothering me!  I’m not up to my usual bitchy self!

If you’re not already a member of this forum then you should be!  We changed hosts last night from Site5 which has been absolutely terrible of late to AN Hosting who seem - so far - much better!  The changeover went without a hitch and was really quick so no complaints there!

It’s  a Bitch Thing (or IaBT as it’s affectionately known) as a forum is the concept of myself, but comes from an original idea from Helena, who opened a group on Shelfari many moons ago called something slightly different for people to just generally rant and rave.  We then progressed to Anobii (which we still haunt) and I then thought we deserved our own space on the net and so IaBT the blog and forum was born.

The thinking behind it was that while there are many forums out there for general chatter, there weren’t really any for people to seriously have a bitch about the stuff that goes on in their lives, things that bug them, etc without fearing a flame-attack in return.  Obviously, there was a market for this as the site is not yet 2 months old and we’re almost at the 3,000 post mark - go us!!!!  We’re either a bunch of miserable bastards with nothing to do but complain or we just enjoy chatting with each other

So, even if you have nothing to complain about, but feel like getting together with a bunch of people who don’t take life too seriously, come on over and say hello!!!

I think I’ve settled on this being the new style.  It’s very plain, I know.  But it’s easy on the eye with no fuss or glamour, which I prefer.  It also has some funky gizmos that I can play with when I’m bored!

I’ll design a header image over the next few days, which will add a splash of colour, and I have some ad placements to put up too.  Keep watching this space!

You gotta love site upheavals! As previously posted, I moved hosts today. And what initially appeared to be a smooth transfer has turned into a pain in the arse! Not the host’s fault by any stretch of the imagination. In actual fact, I think my ftp package is at fault as it keeps “forgetting” to upload important files! So I end up staring at the screen wondering why something isn’t working correctly, then realise it’s because the file it needs isn’t there!!! Go figure.

Because of that, I’ve had to change the style I use - not that I disllike this one, to be honest but we’ll see how it goes. I’m still putting my stuff back into its proper place, so bear with me. Then once I’ve got my blog back in working order I have to move my beloved It’s a Bitch Thing forum/blog and Gary’s Airsoft forum too. Let’s hope they go much smoother huh!… First though, I think I’ll get myself a new ftp package!!! Any recommendations?

Azhrialilu dot Com will be offline for a short while today sometime. Unfortunately I can’t predict what time that will be.  We’re transferring to a new hosting package with AN Hosting and once the account is set up I’ll start the move.  Hopefully it won’t take too long and the dns will propogate fast!
